Made in Egypt Platform

Made in Egypt

The gateway to local and international markets for Egyptian industry

The Made in Egypt Platform is one of the Egyptian Association for Industrial Development’s principal programs. It supports Egyptian factories and industrial enterprises in marketing, expansion, access to business opportunities, and exports across domestic, regional, and international markets.

Launched in April 2020 in cooperation with Egypt Business Center, the platform was designed as a dedicated digital gateway bringing Egyptian manufacturers and products together in a single ecosystem. It provides practical tools to help the industrial sector generate production opportunities and sales and connect with buyers, importers, distributors, and procurement opportunities.

The platform supports access to Egypt’s domestic market, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Arab and African markets, and international markets, strengthening the competitiveness of Egyptian industry and creating new channels for factory growth and expansion.

An Integrated Directory of Egyptian Factories

Made in Egypt maintains a dedicated directory of factories and companies operating in and supporting the industrial sector, organized by sector, activity, and specialization.

Each factory can have a digital profile presenting its operations, products, and production capabilities, making it easier for companies, buyers, importers, and organizations seeking Egyptian manufacturers and suppliers to find it.

An Online Marketplace for Egyptian Products

The platform includes a B2B marketplace for Egyptian industrial products, enabling factories to showcase their products, specifications, and manufacturing capacities to buyers, importers, and distributors.

Its model emphasizes direct communication with manufacturers, allowing parties to handle enquiries, negotiations, contracts, fulfillment, and exports directly and helping Egyptian products reach new customers and markets.

Tenders, Procurement Requests, and Business Opportunities

Made in Egypt provides factories with access to tenders, purchase and supply requests, business opportunities, and public- and private-sector projects inside Egypt and abroad.

The goal is to go beyond a simple online manufacturer directory and provide a business-development tool that helps factories identify real orders and use their production capacity more effectively.

Export Development and International Market Access

Exports are a central part of the platform’s mission: improving the visibility of Egyptian products abroad and connecting manufacturers with international sourcing and procurement opportunities.

Made in Egypt has also been linked to the “Made in the Gulf” ecosystem, a step intended to strengthen Egyptian products’ presence in GCC markets and expand interaction with the region’s buyers and business community.

An Integrated Ecosystem for Egyptian Industry

Through Made in Egypt, the Association seeks to build an integrated digital industrial community bringing together factories, products, buyers, importers, and procurement and export opportunities.

The platform complements the Association’s other programs in industrial development, digital transformation, quality, training and employment, investment networking, and export growth, giving factories access to a broader range of services that support growth and competitiveness.
