Building young people’s programming skills and employability
As part of its role in youth development and aligning training with labor-market needs, the Egyptian Association for Industrial Development delivered a specialist Python programming course on 20 July 2026. The program targeted 100 graduates of Egyptian universities and equipped them with practical programming skills to help them enter the workforce.
The course covered Python fundamentals and applications through hands-on training, with an emphasis on computational thinking, problem-solving, and participants’ technical capabilities in line with digital transformation and rapid developments in technology and artificial intelligence.
All trainees completed the course successfully. Participants were evaluated based on performance, understanding, and practical application during the training period.
To extend the impact of training into actual employment, the Association supported the placement of five outstanding participants with four companies, demonstrating an approach that connects training to private-sector needs and real employment opportunities.
The Association continues to deliver specialist training and skills-development programs for young people and graduates, in cooperation with industrial companies and institutions, to strengthen workforce readiness, support employment, and develop the capabilities required by the Egyptian labor market.
